The Veloz trucks are the most stable 50 degree trucks I have ridden. Veloz Trucks are the most precise cast truck on the market, and offer a precise and predictable reaction to every move the rider makes. The trucks let the rider feel the slides when doing stand ups, which allows the rider to enjoy the slide, rather than attempting to figure out what
the truck is trying to do.
The back truck can easily be turned into a 42 degree by flipping it, which allows a different world of turning and stability. The Veloz X truck offers exactly what its meant to do. Normally any rider would be unstable bombing with a 14 inch wheelbase with 50 degree trucks, but with a 0 degree truck stability doesn't become an issue
(This doesn't mean in-experienced riders should use the X truck for bombing anything faster than what they couldn't already do on a set of 50/50 trucks!!.)

For being a cast truck, these are the best truck available. I love them! I have ridden every style of truck out there, both precision and cast and nothing I have ridden compare to Veloz. They are very clean, highly responsive, and incredibley stable. Super turny and handle slides like butter. When turning hard though they can grip like none other as well. With the Trucks being 50 degree front and rear aero specific you can actually say "these trucks make you faster!" I personally perform so much better on Veloz trucks, and above all else these wont fail on you, or hold you back. They by far the most durable trucks out there. Not only in everyday riding, but in purposely trying to break them I have failed. Miserabley. I have broken my hardware, and chipped and cracked curbs and have yet to bend an axel or crack the pivot cup, they simply wont break or chang shape at all. Veloz makes me want to go home and tie my shoes double knot style they are so clean.

So earlier this week a friend of mine was nice to send me a set of Veloz trucks after I jacked my crails. I got The V-5 starter set with 50 degree front and rear trucks. My initial thoughts about the trucks were that they looked quite interesting; they had amazing casting, definately the best I've ever seen for a cast truck. I set them up with venom barrels, red bottom yellow top for rear trucks and double yellow front. Another thing I noticed was that the rear trucks seemed to have a more compressed bushing seat than the front truck, which I assume was to help with stability.
All set up on my S9 race I took them out for a good skate session. Did some freeriding with them at first, they weren't as turny as my crails. My crails had a definite smoother turn and response, however the veloz trucks seemed to be a little bit more floppy but not exactly leany it's kinda hard to describe. They were still turny, just a new kind of turny. Sliding these trucks are really nice, maybe not for freeriding where you want long lasting slides but with these they slid very smoothly. The V5's also gripped up easier than my crails, which I assume has to do with the axles. I took them up to high 40's the other day and they were SOLID as a rock. The trucks were super stable and allowed for extremely smooth transitions from sweeper to sweeper.
If you do get these trucks, I'd recommend the 50 degree set; they are already super stable and you can use them for everything. Sexy casting, crazy stable, smooth at 40 plus speed, bushing seats aren't too bad, smooth grippy slides, great race truck!
